The client referred to as “you,”, “shipper,” or “consignee” agrees to the terms and conditions outlined below when ordering services from Dadiouse Shipping Limited, referred to as “us,” “we,” or “the company.”
1. Scope of Service
These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of international shipment services by Dadiouse Shipping Limited. Our services include the transportation of goods from the UK to Ghana via sea, and land. By using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
2. Booking and Documentation
- All shipments must be booked in advance through our online platform, customer service number or agent.
- Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete shipment information, including but not limited to sender name, sender address, recipient name, receipt address, sender and recipient phone numbers, item descriptions, weight, and dimensions
- A consignment note must be completed and handed to our agent at the time of pickup.
- Required documentation such as invoices must be provided by us before shipment.
3. Compliance with Regulations
- Customers must comply with all applicable laws and regulations governing the import, export, and transportation of goods.
4. Prohibited and Restricted Goods
A Shipment is deemed unacceptable if:
- the address is incorrect or not properly marked or its packaging is defective or inadequate to ensure safe transportation with ordinary care in handling.
- The company can agree to the repackage and carry defective packaging subject to the payment of a surcharge and indemnification against any damages to the contents of such shipment.
- it contains complete firearms, ammunition, explosives, explosive devices or test pieces, air guns, replica or imitation firearms; counterfeit goods; cash; bullion (of any precious metal); live animals, prohibited animal parts or remains, such as ivory; human remains or ashes; loose precious or semi-precious stones; cannabis or its derivatives; or illegal goods, such as narcotics or other illegal drugs.
- it is classified as hazardous material, dangerous goods, prohibited or restricted articles under The European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road (ADR) or by International Air Transport Association (IATA), International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) or other relevant organization.
5. Duties, Taxes, and Customs Clearance
The Company may perform any of the following activities on behalf of Shipper to provide services:
- complete any documents, amend product or service codes and advance any duties, taxes or other regulatory charges required under applicable laws and regulations (“Customs Duties”)
- act as the Shipper’s true and lawful agent or designate a customs broker to perform export control and customs clearance.
- The shipper will provide any extra authorization required by applicable law for the company to clear a Shipment.
